In the beginning, there was nothingness (Te Kore) and darkness (Te Pō). From this void, the Earth Mother Papatūānuku and Sky Father Ranginui made many sons who lived between then in the darkness. Eventually the sons wanted to experience the light and have more space to move. Find out how they separate their parents and what happens to the earth when they do.
