This is a fun group time poem and game. Have your own Olympic medal ceremony where everyone can be involved.
How to play: There are two ways you can play. You can put magnets on the sports and put them up on the whiteboard for the children to pick when their name is called OR you can put all the sports into opaque bag and when the child's name is called they can close their eyes and pick a sport at random.
Then in the next part of the poem they receive their medals. There are two different medal options. One you can print the medals with ribbon printed on and hand them to each "competitor" or you can print the round disks, laminate and punch a hole through the top and add ribbon so they can wear the medals around their necks. Whichever you decide the kids will love how interactive it is.
I have added all the colour medals (gold, silver, bronze) how many of each colour you use is up to you. Each page has one colour medal so you can print that colour preference as many times as you need to ensure there is enough medals for every child.
